Conflict Management

This program gives participants an opportunity to develop a set of competencies to manage conflict effectively. If you would like to complete this certificate program, please follow the steps detailed below.

Chances are you’ve been negatively impacted by workplace conflict at some point in your career. This certificate program gives you the fundamental tools required to manage conflict in today’s work environment. You will learn how to communicate effectively during conflict and gain the skills to successfully manage your own emotions, engage in the resolution process, and have difficult conversations that are respectful and professional.

Are you a leader or manager who wants to set the tone and create a culture of performance in your organization? You have a pivotal role in your workplace, which is why it’s important to take the time to refine your leadership competencies and build new skills. This program explores a leader’s role in influencing, motivating, and inspiring others, as well as management’s role in directing and organizing their teams.

Leadership and Management

Leadership Essentials

Whether you are an aspiring, new, or experienced manager, it’s important to always look for ways to develop your leadership skills. This program teaches you how to create happier, healthier, more motivated teams where everyone feels supported. In just eight two-hour sessions, you will learn the skills you need to effectively lead your team and your organization toward achieving its mission.

Learn from Someone Who’s Been Where You Are

One of our experienced facilitators will teach you core leadership competencies and challenge you to expand on what you learn through group discussions and interactive activities.
Once you’ve completed the program, you can also schedule up to three coaching sessions with the facilitator.* This is an opportunity to gain valuable insights on how to apply what you’ve learned to your workplace. The facilitator can also help you map out your career or figure out the next steps in your leadership development.

This program is also an opportunity to expand your network. You will have many opportunities to connect with other enthusiastic learners, all committed to growing as leaders.

Combine required workshops and electives to create your very own custom certificate program that you complete at your own pace.

  • Register for the program you’d like to take and pay a one-time registration fee.
  • Complete the requirements of the program by taking 60 continuing education credit hours of core and elective workshops. You are responsible for registering and paying for these workshops.
  • You can track your progress toward completing the program in the Certificate Program dashboard found in your library after registering.
  • The total cost varies per person and program, depending on what type of workshops you are taking (either live virtual/in-person events or on-demand workshops).
  • All 60 hours of training must be completed within five years of registering for the program. We will track your progress and award the certificate upon completion.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the program cost?

There is not a specific total cost for the certificate programs. The total price will depend on which workshops you choose to take, if you take live virtual, on-demand, or in-person workshops, etc. If you want more information on the cost of the program, please reach out to our Certificate Program Coordinator, Kloe.

Which trainings count towards the certificate program?

All of our on-demand workshops, live virtual workshops, and in-person workshops can be applied to your certificate program. Please note that our one-hour on-demand webinars do not count towards your program.

Will I receive a certificate of completion?

You will receive a certificate at the end of each individual workshop you take. After you have completed the full 60 hours of training for your certificate program, you will also receive a comprehensive certificate of completion.

What are elective courses, and which ones do I take?

Each program has specific core/mandatory workshops that you must complete, while the rest of the 60 hours of training will consist of elective workshops. Elective workshops are trainings of your choosing. Any of our on-demand, live virtual, or in-person workshops can be used as electives. There are suggested elective workshops listed on each certificate program option above.

How do I keep track of what workshops have already taken?

When you sign up for a program, we will keep track of your progress on our end. You will also receive an email with a program-specific checklist so you can keep track of what you have taken.
