Eric believes workplace climate assessments succeed in providing vital information to an organization when the facilitator actively engages leaders in designing the process, and when the facilitator listens with curiosity to all those who participate.
As the CEO of ACHIEVE, Eric provides leadership for a large team of staff and consultants. In this capacity, he directs the development and delivery of ACHIEVE’s consulting services. In addition to his role with ACHIEVE, he is a Past President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Manitoba and holds the designation of Chartered Mediator. Eric has worked as a senior mediator, board chair, administrator, trainer, and lead negotiator for other organizations across Canada.
Eric’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a focus on Mediation and Peacemaking, extensive leadership development training, and a certificate in mediation skills. He is co-author of The Culture Question and Don’t Blame the Lettuce, and is a contributing author to ACHIEVE’s workshop materials related to team development, leadership, and facilitation.
