Alfonso is a leadership professional with more than three decades of public sector leadership experience across municipal, regional, and provincial governments. His career is rooted in learning and development, organizational change, policy design, and team leadership. For over 25 years, he has facilitated courses, workshops, and planning sessions in areas such as project management, leading teams, and managing change. Most recently, Alfonso served as a senior manager with the Regional Municipality of York, where he led large, diverse teams and guided major operational and policy initiatives.

Alfonso is a lifelong learner and has pursued extensive professional development in executive management, adult education, change management, process improvement, mental health leadership, diversity and anti-racism, and psychometric assessment. This dedication to continuous growth shapes his leadership philosophy and his approach to developing others. He is passionate about helping individuals and organizations navigate complexity with clarity, purpose, and compassion. He believes that when people understand themselves and their impact, they can lead with intention and create meaningful, lasting change.
