Jaicee Chartrand

Location: Manitoba

Jaicee identifies is Cree-Métis and lives on Treaty 1 Land in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She holds 13 years of experience in leadership positions with service organizations, leading teams in a resiliency framework with strong advocacy toward client-centred, trauma-informed care and leadership. She is a Registered Professional Counsellor and a Certified Indigenous Addictions Specialist. In addition to training with ACHIEVE, Jaicee owns a private counselling practice. Jaicee believes that self-awareness and reflection in leadership allow leaders to be attuned to their own potential, enhance their effectiveness and authenticity, and aid in the creation of healthy workplace cultures with long-standing, happy teams who feel empowered.

 

As a facilitator, Jaicee is someone who embraces open-heartedness and authenticity and integrates her lived experiences into her trainings. She trains from a collectivist perspective, where we come together as equal learners and sharers of knowledge to serve and support our communities.
