Trainer: Deanne Kaar
Deanne has honed her skills in leadership and organizational change for many years as the Manager and Director of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Her background is in mental health and addiction services and ensuring services in primary health care for people and animals. Deanne is currently working at the Veterinary Hospital with the University of Saskatchewan. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Public Health, with expertise in program evaluation, project management, and change management. As a leader, Deanne is passionate about creating a work environment where individuals feel valued, acknowledged, and appreciated, and where collaboration, creative problem-solving, and teamwork are fostered and expected by the team. She understands the value of open communication, trust, and accountability in developing functional and dynamic teams.
