Trainers and Consultants

James has extensive experience training people to handle situations of conflict and escalated emotion. He has a degree in Sociology and has worked for over a decade of in the field of mental health and addictions, specifically working in a variety of shelters, as well as addiction rehabilitation and treatment facilities for youth. In his various roles, he has been instrumental in developing and implementing policies for managing conflict. James believes some of the most critical skills anyone can develop are listening skills. In addition to training with ACHIEVE, he also teaches at the college level. As a facilitator, James provides high level training for groups that is both engaging and well organized.
